Join us for Viva la Vida a celebration of Flamenco of Spain and Folklorico Music and Dance of Mexico to explore the cultural traditions of “Living the Life”  and El Dia de los Muertos! You loved the recent Flamenco concerts at the Castle, now enjoy this Spanish cultural genre along with its Mexican counterparts Folklorico and Mariachi together for an exciting large Veranda Tent celebration on the afternoon of October 11.

This concert features talents of FIESTACO FLAMENCO dancers Jeanette Trujillo-Lucero, Gina Martinez, and Arturo Curiel with Mexican Folklorico Dancers: Gabriela Duran, Jesus Martinez, Alberto Jimerson; Adam Barrientos & Yadira — joined by the ever talented Steve Mullins on Guitar, and Rudy Monterroso on Cajon-Percussion. The show includes special guest artists of The Mariachi Regional de Mexico, directed by Guadalupe Zapata.

The program is concieved and directed by Jeanette Trujillo-Lucero a key friend of Cherokee Ranch who has been honored and known as a “Living Legend of Dance in Colorado.” She is particularly pleased to be bringing this celebration to Castle audiences and thrilled to include Mariachi Regional, originally from Mexico City, who have played with the most famous Mariachis, singers and musicians from Mexico to serenade you with the beautiful Music of Mexico and Spain!

Timeline:  Castle opens at 1pm for exploring with our docents. The Concert begins in the Veranda Tent at 2pm and performs with a short intermission with snack service.
