Despite some afternoon rain thousands of jazz enthusiasts turned out for a day of fun in the wonderful ambiance of jazz music coming from 10 stages performed by 25 bands along Welton Street in East Denver’s Five Points neighborhood.

It was the annual Five Points Jazz Festival that featured not only music but a variety of exhibits, vendors and activities in the daylong celebration of the music, people and culture that define the history of jazz in the United States and in Denver, Colorado.
