Get ready for a night of spellbinding entertainment. ArtistiCO Dance Company proudly announces the return of its flagship production, ¡VIVA MÉXICO! A Dance Spectacular, taking place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the iconic Ellie Caulkins Opera House inside the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

This large-scale cultural production will feature over 100 performers, internationally recognized guest artists, live musicians, flamenco, folklórico traditions, and contemporary staging in a powerful celebration of Mexican culture, artistry, and community.
Founded in 2019 by Jose Rosales and Alfonso Meraza Prudente, ArtistiCO Dance Company has become one of Colorado’s leading Latino performing arts organizations, dedicated to fostering cultural representation, accessibility, and artistic excellence through dance education and world-class performances.
This year’s production introduces the world premiere of Flamenco Veracruz Suite, an innovative artistic exploration connecting the traditions of Mexican folklórico dance and flamenco.

Special guest artists include acclaimed cultural leader and choreographer Jeanette Trujillo Lucero one of Colorado’s most influential advocates for Mexican dance and cultural preservation, alongside internationally recognized flamenco artist María Vázquez, Artistic Director of Flamenco Denver, whose work bridges traditional Spanish flamenco with contemporary artistic expression through performance, education, and community engagement.
The evening will also feature internationally acclaimed harpist Leonard Jacome, renowned musician Miguel Soldevila, and Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra, whose live musical collaborations will bring an added layer of artistry, atmosphere, and emotional depth to the production.
“¡VIVA MÉXICO! is more than a performance, it is a celebration of identity, heritage, and the power of community through the arts,” said Jose Rosales, Founder & CEO of ArtistiCO Dance Company.
