The Biennial of the Americas said they would end their week long festival by bringing something to Denver that would be different than anything the city had ever seen or experienced before. Well, did they deliver and how.
Cosmico Americas featuring Jaguara was beyond amazing. The music and light spectacle transformed Denver’s Civic Center Park and the City & County Building into beautiful tapestry of luminous artistry. The entire face of the City & Building was painted by an endless pallet of colored lighting that represented the amazon jungle in variety of plant and animal forms. The show was so striking it went well past 11pm with the crowd only growing as people just wanting to know what was going on. See more videos HERE, HERE, HERE
Jaguara a strikingly beautiful and humbling art installation that stands as a platform to bring attention to the deforestation and increasing endangerment of the jaguar habitat in North and South America.
The Live music lineup included performances from:
Billboard’s 2019 Latin Artist on the Rise, Jackie Mendoza
Colombian bands Mucho Indio and Systema Solar
Local bands Kiltro and Los Mocochetes
Latin Life Denver was a proud media sponsor the festival.
