Cirque Du Soleil’s Union Station Lunchtime Surprise & Random Act of Kindness

It was a big surprise for people hanging around Denver’s Union Station during the noon hour when cast members of Cirque Du Soleil’s Kurios, Cabinet of Curiosities appeared in person and in costume not only to promote the show but to give away tickets for those who promised to do random acts of kindness for others. Governor John Hickenlooper challenged Coloradoans to perform 10,000 acts of kindness for the #StateofKind Challenge (www.stateofkind.com) before July 14 and only 235 remain to reach the goal. KURIOS characters said they were thrilled to be a part of the #StateofKind challenge. 35 pairs of tickets and dozens of clown noses were given away during the event. Kurios, cabinet of curiosities runs through July 26th.

KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities™ is set during the turn of the century, when the steam engine revolutionized transportation, making Union Station the perfect backdrop for the event.
