It was a busy weekend for Latino celebrity weddings…
According to TMZ, Ariana Grande and her fiancé Dalton Gomez tied the knot at Ariana’s home in Montecito, California this weekend.
“They got married,” Ariana’s rep confirmed to People. “It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
The 27-year-old singer and 25-year-old real estate agent began dating in January 2020. The two went public with their relationship four months later when they appeared in the music video for Ariana’s song with Justin Bieber, “Stuck with U.”
The couple announced their engagement in December when Ariana posted a photo of her ring with the caption, “Forever n then some.”
“They couldn’t be happier, they’re just so excited,” a source told People at the time. “This is a happy time for them, both sets of parents are thrilled.
Canelo Alvarez got married just days after his fight with Billy Joe Saunders in a lavish ceremony – without a scratch from his eight round battle with the Brit.
Fernanda Gomez and Canelo Alvarez had been dating each other since 2016. The couple also have a daughter together, who is one of Alvarez’s three children. Fernanda often shares pictures of herself with Canelo Alvarez, along with photos of the entire family.
The Mexican fighter Alvarez tied the knot with long-term partner Fernanda Gomez over the weekend, shortly after he knocked out previously undefeated British boxer Saunders in the eighth round in front of 73,000 fans in Dallas, Texas on May 8.
The World Boxing Organization, whose belt Canelo took from Saunders with victory, congratulated him on his nuptials, leading fans to joke that the 30-year-old booked his wedding so soon after the fight because he was so confident of not getting hurt.
