“Seeing everybody come together, that’s my favorite part about the Puerto Rican festival”, said 23 year old Alexandria Garcia. Her and her family come prepared with beach blankets and chairs. “We’re here every year”, said Garcia who came early to stake out the best spot to see the music and people watch. “The best part about being Puerto Rican is the food”, said Alexandria.
The year the party is about to be on! It’s a great day to get out the 14th annual Taste Of Puerto Rico Festival at Denver’s Civic Center Park. Great food, great music, great people, lots of dancing and lots of fun. The festival goes on all day from 11am until 7pm Sunday June 9th at Denver’s Civic Center Park. Admission if FREE!
