The Suffragette’s Murder, Women’s Movement Funny But Enlightening, LLD Review

In the midst of all this a group of women and one man are organizing a secret meeting to discuss the emerging women’s suffrage movement and how they will participate as the East Coast Suffragists. When one of the women, Lauralee, who had been sent out to inform others of the meeting goes missing and presumed dead, the tenants of the boarding house where she lives are suspected of murder.

Oh, what a night it was. A night to remember. May 17, 2024. To say the excitement was through the roof would be an understatement. They came from throughout the state of Colorado. From both rural and urban communities. Entire families, teachers, friends, and fellow classmates traveled to Denver for the annual Bobby G Awards recognizing outstanding achievements in the production of high school musical theatre.

“Buy things you don’t need with money you don’t have.” When I was offered tickets to review The Lehman Trilogy, I thought no way am I going to miss game three of the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timber wolves playoff game to see a three hour and 20 minute play with just three actors talk about how three Bavarian Jewish brothers came to America with nothing and created businesses that led to a multi generational fortune of nearly $614 billion in assets and 25,000 employees that ultimately went bust.

‘Guadalupe In The Guest Room’ Love Is Never Forgotten, At Denver’s John Hand Theater Thru April 20th, LLD Review

First off, ‘Guadalupe In The Guest Room’ is not about the Virgen de Guadalupe, the Virgin Mary, it is about a woman from Mexico named Guadalupe, played by Megally Luna, who has come to the U.S. to care for her ailing daughter. The daughter, Claudia, has passed away and she is now a guest in the home of her daughter’s husband. Guadalupe doesn’t speak English and Steve doesn’t speak Spanish.
